Thanks Jeremy and Colin. Indeed, my point is precisely as Colin stated,
that for purposes of documentation this banner image (and its associated
list of applications) should be considered dynamic content that will be
updated regularly from the web. My apologies for confusing the matter
with my poorly-worded initial comment!

  The design team decided that the current default banner is not sufficiently branded. I updated trunk with
  the new default banner and attach a screenshot here.
