  update-manager -d 11.10 fails

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  i wanted to update my eeepc 1000h to 11.10

  I tried it second time, same error, but continued.
  At the end, the installer got stuck. I aborted this, and have finished it manual.

  I am now running 11.10 beta. But quite some manual work, and needed to
  remove some locks.
