Title:
ubiquity crashed with AttributeError in do_set_property(): 'StateBox'
object has no attribute 'label'
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Dear Developers,
I downloaded latest Oneiric i386 desktop daily live cd from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com website, in the dayly directory/current directory.
I think the CD creation date is 2011-09-22.
Before I run Ubiquity installer from the desktop icon, I installed in live environment the latest updates. I want testing Ubiquity starts if all updates are installed or not, because lot of time I making custom testing CD with a11y related.
Before upgrades installation, Ubiquity GTK live installer starts correct. After Upbrades installation finished, Ubiquity GTK installer doesn't launched, and I experience this bug.
Reproducation steps:
1. Download for example latest awailable daily live cd, or the beta2 release.
2. Boot the wrote CD, or in the iso file with a virtual machine.
3. In the main screen, you choose "Try Ubuntu" possibility.
4. Verify Ubiquity installer launching correct if you clicking the Install Ubuntu 11.10 desktop icon.
5. Open a terminal with CTRL+ALT+T keystroke, and install all upgrades with sudo apt-get dist-upgrade command.
6. Verify again Ubiquity installer launching correct if you clicking the Install Ubuntu 11.10 desktop icon. If you reproduced this bug, the installer will be not launch, and the /var/crash directory will be created the Ubiquity related crash file.
