Bug description:
  Binary package hint: synaptic

  When Synaptic is performing an operation, the window controls for the
  main window disappear, and focus cannot be put on the main window to
  regain them.

  This occurs with the new Unity interface, in the older interface, the
  main window controls appeared and worked.
