There should be a button in update-manager indicating that there is a
new distribution available. Alternatively you can use the command
'update-manager -c' in a terminal and that should make the distribution
button appear.

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
I run ubuntu 9.04 and the upgrade manager says EOL for my version and it is no longer supported.
The problem is when I try to update it I get the following message:
Cannot update ian upgrade from jaunty to lucid is not suported with this tool.
How can I go about upgrading to distribution release 10.04.3 LTS?
