Looking at the attachments in this bug report, I noticed that "The
pictures." was flagged as a patch. A patch contains changes to an
Ubuntu package that will resolve a bug, since this was not one I've
unchecked the patch flag for it. In the future keep in mind the
definition of a patch. You can learn more about what qualifies as a
patch at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Patches. Thanks!

Bug description:
  Short Description
Inability to produce a functional complex installation with alternative distubunionen.

Version: Ubuntu 12.04 alternative distribution (ubuntu-12.04-beta2-alternate-i386.iso).

The installer will create an installation that can not install GRUB.
The problem is that /boot without user interaction unmounted.

  How the error occurs.

Start the installation and run until it is time to deal with hard
drive are. Select this manually. Create three RAID containers per hard
disk. Enable and configure RAID. Create containers for encryption and
one partiton for /boot. Do you find yourself in state as shown in
  picture 1.

After configuration and activation of the encrypted disks, you must
have the state in picture 2. Are you now satisfied with just having
RAID and encryption, and configure the system for it, you'll get an
error message that /boot is on an encrypted partiton, no major
  problems here.

We continue to create an LVM on md1_crypt. When you are done you
should be in the state as picture 3 shows.

Once configured LVM with / and /home, you should now be in the state
as shown in picture 4. Do you now continue the installation you will
  get no warnings.

The installation perish now "normal" and fails only when GRUB will be
installed, which shows in picture 5 to 7.

Good luck with the bug hunting
