  Lubuntu 12.04 beta 2 20120406 hangs at detecting keyboard

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Install proceeding fine, gets to detecting keyboard and no matter what
  I do will not continue.  Copying files progress line keeps on going
  until I assume it gets done.  The "detecting keyboard" window is still
  up.  Tried again, same result.
