Public bug reported:

After upgrading from 11.10 to 12.04 beta, unlocking encrypted volumes
(for instance /home and /var/lib/mysql) at boot time no longer works.
Entering a password and pressing return simply clears the password, no
other feedback is given.

** Affects: cryptsetup (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
