[Bug 976189] Re: Maximizing a minimized window makes the window blank white

Same problem here with identical configuration (as far as I can see):

Distro: Ubuntu 12.04
uname -a: Linux 3.2.0-22-generic #35-Ubuntu SMP x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Architecture: amd64
Graphics: Nvidia driver 295.33

The same problem also still exists in 11.10.

Resizing the blank window (a little bit) restores the contents but it is
quite cumbersome to do that all the time...;-)

Any ideas what could be wrong?

If you do need more information, tell me how I can help.

Title:
Maximizing a minimized window makes the window blank white

Status in “ubuntu-meta” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When I maximize a minimized window, the window appears blank white and
hence unusable. Unmaximizing the window makes it display the contents
again and after that, maximizing works fine.
