Title:
  update manager could not calculate the upgrade

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  i was installing gnome-shell package with the use of Terminal,
  then on adding a external ppa:
          sudo ppa-purge ppa:ricotz/testing
  after installing it when i did
          sudo apt-get update
  then i found this error occured.
  This is caused by held and beoken packages in the system,
  i also tried fix broken packages using synaptic but it is of no use.
  if anybody found its solution then let me know.

  E:Error,pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may br caused by held packages.
