Title:
gutsy regression: very high temp on turion 64 CPU

Status in “acpi-support” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid
Status in “linux-source-2.6.22” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: acpi-support

I've installed a clean install of Tribe 2 on a Fujitsu Amilo A1650g:

  cat /var/lib/acpi-support/*-*
  R01-A1I
  FUJITSU SIEMENS
  AMILO A1650G
  -1

The cpu is getting up to 87c degrees... This never happened on
Feisty/Edgy nor Dapper (tested with the same running processes).

  For now I did:
  sudo chmod 777 /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
  sudo echo "powersave" >> /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor

Please could anyone confirm if its common or just affects my laptop?
