Bug description:
  E:Malformed line 45 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (dist parse) Shows when I try to up date. Have not been able to update for weeks now! I am a beginner. 
  Also can not get softwear centre to work. It will not load. Helen
  Ubuntu 11.10  32 bit
  When wrote apt-cache policy pkgname it read unable to locate pkgname Can not open soft wear centre.

  I had expceted update manager to run. It did not even finish checking
  when the error message can up.
