Here's the syntax error in the file  
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/virtualbox.list :

“deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian precise contrib”

Bug description:
  I was trying to install a package for Virtual box and when I ended the
  instalation, all the updating softwares were no longer working.
