Bug description:
Hello, I have been running Ubuntu 10.04 for some time, but recently I
have not been able to install upgrades. This has got worse with time.
I have therefore tried to upgrade to version 10.10 which appeared as
available from the update manger. This has failed a number of times,
with a message saying that the system is now unstable
