Title:
nautilus-open-terminal should be included in default Ubuntu install

Status in One Hundred Paper Cuts:
  Invalid
Status in “ubuntu-meta” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
nautilus-open-terminal should be a standard package in Ubuntu.
Compressed it will only be adding about 30Kb to the total size of the
install CD and it forms the perfect bridge between arguably the two
most important tools of the modern desktop Linux user - the file
  manager (nautilus) and the terminal.

  I REALLY can't understand why nautilus-open terminal isn't a standard
part of the Ubuntu/Debian GNOME meta-package when stuff like Inkscape,
Transmission and now even Mono are. nautilus-open-terminal would be
useful to everyone who uses GNOME- Ubuntu is doing a great job of
minimising peoples need to use the terminal to be productive but its
still some way of totally supplanting all need for the terminal and
the truth of the matter is that it never will as experienced users
know the many advantages to using the terminal alone or in conjunction
  with a GUI file manager.

nautilus-open-terminal is always one of the first things I install on
  any GNOME system.
