Title:
Linux kernel update from update manager doesn't refresh grub2
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Ubuntu karmic koala
Kernel: 2.6.31.17 generic
I had default system loading number in grub 2 set to 8 (the last
option).
When I updated to latest Linux kernel with update manager it added two
additional booting choices at the top but kept the default system
loading number in grub 2 set to 8 instead of changing it to 10.
