Bug description:
  
  I have Ubuntu 12.04 64bit.

  For some reason, the latest update tries to break my system. It tries
  to remove my desktop and Nautilus. Bug #980376 explains better.

  All other updates have been fine up to this point.

  Now update manager fails.
