Public bug reported:

I installed Precise Beta 2 (desktop amd64) and it created the following partition table on my ssd:
$ sudo sfdisk -d /dev/sda
# partition table of /dev/sda
unit: sectors

/dev/sda1 : start=       63, size=245874762, Id=83, bootable
/dev/sda2 : start=245874825, size=  4192965, Id= 5
/dev/sda3 : start=        0, size=        0, Id= 0
/dev/sda4 : start=        0, size=        0, Id= 0
/dev/sda5 : start=245874888, size=  4192902, Id=82

The alignment check says it's not optimally aligned:
$ sudo parted /dev/sda align-check opt
Partitionsnummer? 1
1 nicht ausgerichtet
