[Bug 981912] [NEW] Trying to upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10 - error: not enough free disk space

I am attempting to upgrade to 10.10 and I keep getting an error that
says I dont have 1,800m of free disk space.  This is not true as I have
over 73gb of free space.  I have done a sudo apt-get clean and emptied
my trash.  I don't know what else to empty.
