Title:
aptitude loop infinitely on ^D (eof) at prompt

Status in “aptitude” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: aptitude

On a "aptitude dist-upgrade" I got prompted for a dependency
resolution: Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?]. I typed Ctrl-D by mistake
(end-of-file) and aptitude entered an infinite loop of prompts and
errors. Typically, on other prompts, ^D is a cancellation.

Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?] *** ERROR: search aborted by fatal exception. You may continue
searching, but some solutions will be unreachable.
  Unexpected end-of-file on standard input
  etc...
