Title:
packages in "unable to locate pkgfile" can not be repaired

Status in “aptdaemon” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
ubuntu 12.04 (LTS) Downloaded and installed today Saturday, 14.
  April 2012

When trying to install an application (vlc, chromium and audacity is
the one I have tried) from the software center, I get the message:

  "
  Previous installation hasn't been completed
The installation could have failed because of an error in the corresponding software package or it was cancelled in an unfriendly way. You have to repair this before you can install or remove any further software.

details: E:I wasn't able to locate a file for the libaacs0 package. This might mean you need to manually fix this package.
  "

I pressed "repair" every time the message came, but I still cannot
install programs. I think this problem also affects the landscape-
  client installation.
