Public bug reported:
1) Install kubuntu 11.10 or 12.04 beta on a laptop with a usb keyboard.
A the beginning of the install process, select "english" as system
language (F2) but select "french" as keyboard layout (F3).
2) once installed, try to log in with kdm. The latop keyboard is
correctly setup as AZERTY but the external keyboard is set as a QWERTY.
3) Once under kde, both keyboard layouts are correct.
4) Witout X (boot in rescue mode), both keyboard layouts are correct.
I don't know which config file is wrong.
** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
