Marking Invalid as I can't reproduce and Jonathan said he couldn't
either in a VM.
I'm guessing we both tried in a non-3d VM so maybe it only happens with
unity 3d but looking more closely to the initial screenshot, I see that
the network manager icon was wrong too, making me think it could have
been a squashfs read failure or similar backend issue causing this.

Bug description:
In the Edubuntu options screen for selecting software, some of the
tick-boxes seem half-ticked, making it appear that some software in
those selections would not be installed.
However, they are fully ticked and it may cause some confusion.
(at least, it did for me)
