Bug description:
  I'm trying to upgrade my Lynx 10.04, but apt-get is stuck. I got to
  the point where "empathy" and "rhythmbox" need to be uninstalled. I'm
  dead in the water until I can get this resolved.

  I'm trying to uninstall empathy and rhythmbox in my system, which I upgraded a week ago from Koala 9.10 to Lynx 10.04 LTS.
  I'm running on a Dell Latitude E6500 with a dual-processor x86_64.
  (Many things are broken, and this seems to be one step in getting closer to getting a working system.)

  Apt-get (after many updates and upgrades) said to run apt-get -f install.
