Have the same problem here with Precise Pangolin on a Lenovo Thinkpad
T61, 8891-CTO.

The computer powered off normally before the update.

Bug description:
  command halt does not turn off computer. This command correctly close
  all linux comand, sessions etc...but does not turn off computer.
