  Hi all,
I just did a fresh install on a 750GB disk in my Lenovo IdeaPad Z570.

The first two partitions where NTFS the 3dr a extended partition.
I cleared ~600GB space for Ubuntu starting somewhere after 74GB on the disk.

The installer ran without problems and said all si finished if I would
  want to restart.

Upon restart there awas no Ubuntu boot loader - it went straight to
  Win7.
