Bus seems to affect a bunch of people:

The same error appears for

skype and skype-bin

installed.

Workarround: Uninstall Skype, Adobe Flash and Acroread. Update works and
packages can  be reinstalled.

This bug should be fixed asap, because Ubuntu also aimes to non skilled
users. They will have real issus with this.

  When I go through the update, I get an error that said it had an error authenticating some packages:
  acroread-common, adobe-flash-properties-gtk and adobe-flashplugin
