  package linux-image-3.2.0-24-generic 3.2.0-24.37 failed to
  install/upgrade: run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.d/initramfs-tools
  exited with return code 1

Bug description:
  Ran sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade. Accepted the defaults to install/upgrade. The update system froze, laptop began heating up & fans came on constantly. Tried to close update manager - no luck. Rebooted machine and received this crash report.
  The error report mentions insufficient disk space - not sure where or what I can do about it.

  Any suggestions?
