How did /etc/resolv.conf become immutable on the affected system? Did
the administrator do it with chattr?

Bug description:
while upgrading:
resolvconf couldn't be installed - may remain in not working status
post-installation-script exits with errorcode 1
unbound was installed on 11.10 with resolv.conf pointing to localhost (127.0.0.1)
