Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Dapper (server edition) reached EOL on June 1, 2011.

I've tried recreating this bug with Oneriric and was unable to, given
the information you've provided. Please either a) upgrade and test or b)
increase the verbosity of the steps to recreate it so we can try again.
Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: python-subversion
When trying to install python-subversion on Dapper i get the following
error message:
dpkg: ../../src/packages.c:191: process_queue: Assertion `dependtry <=
4' failed.
After this python-subversion has staus 'iU' when I do dpkg -l. To be
able to install any other packages I need to do dpkg --configure -a.
