Title:
nvidia-current from Ubuntu-X-Swat PPA is blocking the upgrade from
  Lucid to Maverick

Status in “nvidia-graphics-drivers” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

Trying to upgrade to 10.10 Beta with

  gksudo 'update-manager -d'

  fails with the message

'E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be
  caused by held packages.'

This is NOT a duplicate of #614993 (although similar), since it has
been fixed according to the bug report.

I have enabled the Ubuntu X updates repository and installed the
latest versions of 'nvidia-current', 'nvidia-current-modaliases' and
  'nvidia-settings'.
