Title:
Ubiquity always attempts to open a new Firefox process

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Hey,

While ubiquity was installing, I had firefox open and on a web page. I
went back to the installer to see some interesting links, attempted to
click but got a message saying that firefox is already open. It
doesn't seem to take into account when FF is already open and always
attempts to launch a new process (and fails)

I've attached a visual image of the bug as well.
