  Could not install 'init-ramfs'

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I run the update-manager GUI and it failed for update of 'initramfs-
  tools' with an error in /var/log/dist-upgrade/main.log:

  ERROR got an error from dpkg for pkg: 'initramfs-tools': 'subprocess
  installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1'

  I'm uppgrading to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (lsb_release -rd)

  $ apt-cache policy initramfs-tools
  initramfs-tools:
    Installed: 0.99ubuntu13
    Candidate: 0.99ubuntu13
    Version table:
   *** 0.99ubuntu13 0
          500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages
          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
