Public bug reported:

On Asus EeePC 1005PE, with a quite complex disk setup (many partitions,
LVM, but that doesn't seem to matter and worked OK with all previous
Ubuntu releases I installed the same way...)

After selecting the partitions onto which to install, they get formatted and files copying onto disk starts as expected, while Ubiquity prompts for time zone selection (Paris selected and kept).
But there's no way to go further than that, hovering the mouse over the CONTINUE button gives the "wait" rotating icon ; the situation stays this way until the files copying process (progress bar below) ends, then ... well... It stays there forever.

Selecting another country / city works (the map reacts), stil both the
"continue" and "back" buttons are completely inoperative, producing only
the "wait" rotating mouse icon.
