[Bug 992293] [NEW] Ubiquity install failed after copying all files. Woraround as in #710582 already needed to get this far

Before this bug I already needed the workaround as described in bug #710582 (note that I am using a 386 machine and the final install CD). Now the installer failed after copying all files.
I had performed manual partinioning in case it may matter.
