  While upgrading from Kubuntu 9.04 to Kubuntu 9.10 mailman fails to

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

  Started the standard upgrade from 9.04 to 9.10 in Kubuntu by answering
  yes to the upgrade question when clicking on the update icon in the
  tray.  The process made it so far as upgrading mailman and fails with
  a subproccess new pre-installation script returned error exit status
  1.  The mailman version showing in the upgrade request is 2.1.12-2.
