Title:
install of grub 2 bootloader was not possible, several partitions
  tried

Status in “grub-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Installation of bootloader was intended to do on first partition of my
second physical hdd. The Windows 7 loader is placed at the first
partition of first hdd, and my intention was to add the Grub 2
Bootloader in Windows 7 via an BCD editor.

But at the very end of the installation of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "precise
pengolin" this critical error occured. None of the tried partitions
nor MBR's of my hdd's worked for the installation.
