  apt-get fails to connect in ubuntu daily amd64

Status in “apt” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  part-way through running "sudo apt-get update" apt stops connecting
  and says it cannot connect to some of the ppa's(including security
  updates), this also happens in software updater. i have run this
  several times with the same output. i am running ubuntu 12.10 daily
  amd64 in a virtual machine.
