Tried to get apport-collect to get logs and data for this.

Wouldn't let me.

Only way I could think of to get data was to run ubuntu-bug again  -
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1039057 is
duplicate.

Hope that helps - even though you'll need to close one, you'll at least
have data - sorry

Bug description:
  Xubuntu Alpha 2

  Install completes successfully.

  Restart when asked to do so.

  Reboots without asking to remove install medium then reboots from live
  medium.
