Public bug reported:

Hi,

Very recently, the retracers are continually exiting. I think it might
be because of this:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/apport-retrace", line 378, in <module>
    permanent_rootdir)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/apport/packaging_impl.py", line 608, in install_packages
    ver = debfile.DebFile(path)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/debian/debfile.py", line 232, in __init__
    compressed_part_name(DATA_PART)))
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/debian/debfile.py", line 217, in compressed_part_name
    " (expected one of: %s)" % candidates)
debian.debfile.DebError: missing required part in given .deb (expected one of: ['data.tar.gz', 'data.tar.bz2', 'data.tar.lzma'])

Any chance someone could take a look into this?

Thanks,

Haw
