[Bug 1041117] [NEW] valgrind/avx support

Public bug reported:

valgrind 3.7 does not support avx instructions. 3.8 does. this limits
the usefulness of valgrind, as even glibc now generates avx instructions
(e.g. for the libm functions). therefore i'd propose to upgrade the
package to 3.8
