This fix is not existent on my Ubuntu 10.04 install.  I am seeing these
messages just as other commenters are.  This bug needs reopening.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: avahi-daemon

  I keep getting messages in the Daemon logs as follows:

  avahi-daemon[3007]: Invalid query packet.

  These messages have been enhanced in redhat
  (http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2009-1119.html) by the addition of
  the IP address in the debug so that further diagnosis can be done.
  Please can you do this with Ubuntu too ??
