I confirm that 12.04.1 installer ignores parameters lang and keyboard in kickseed file.
I'm using network installation via PXE - TFTP - HTTP.
As workaround i used kernel parameters:
locale=en_US console-setup/ask_detect=false keyboard-configuration/layoutcode=us

Bug description:
  When using:

  lang en_GB
  keyboard no

  in kickstart file with daily netboot image the final outcome is still gb in  /etc/default/keyboard as well as lightdm.
  This worked in 10.04 just fine.
