Title:
  Group descriptions missing

Status in “base-passwd” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete
Status in “ubuntu-docs” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs

I'm looking for a description of the currently available groups to
determine whether to add a new group or use an existing one for a udev
rule in a package in universe (wminput). I can't find any and mpt
suggests they might not exist. Debian-policy mentions vaguely how
numbers and groups correspond, but nothing seems to list the currently
existing groups and what programs use them.
