Title:
time zone map: graphical mismatch of selected city and highlighted
  time zone

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
During installation of today's lubuntu i386 build:

Clicking somewhere near the Russian cities Omsk and Novosibirsk (just
in the middleof the country; also happens at other places) marks these
cities by a red dot, but this red dot does not lie inside the
automatically selected time zone highlighted in green color.

Expected: Red dot lies inside green time zone.

This might be another case of
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/334284
which was marked fixed a long time ago.

  See also
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/838045 ,
but I don't think this has anything to do with it, just for reference...

  Attaching a screenshot.
