Title:
Add support for toggling HFS+ journaling

Status in “parted” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: parted

It would be nice to be able to toggle HFS+ journaling off. Then, it
would be possible to resize an HFS+ partition without worrying whether
the journal has become corrupted or not.

The code already exists for the mac:
http://dmunsie.wordpress.com/code/hacks/ and also has been translated
  for linux: http://loquerasparalinux.blogspot.com/2009/02/hfsplus-
  desactivando-journaling-sin.html
