Thank you for your bug report. What desktop environment do you use? Did
you try to go to system-settings -> users and toggle the autologin
switch for the user?

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  The only way to disable it was manual editing lightdm.conf and commenting auto-login line. After that I could enable/disable auto-login.
  Ubuntu 12.10 32 bits new installation.
