Public bug reported:
The grub menu will freeze (hard, need to physically hit the reset switch
as ctrl+alt+del won't work) when keeping a key pressed ie down arrow or
editing the config live and moving around when HPET is enabled. If HPET
is disabled from the bios the problem no longer occurs. This is for
ubuntu 12.10. grub2 common is at version 2.00-7ubuntu.
