Public bug reported:
Running: Raring 13.04 Daily Build
Problem Package: Unknown; suspect pm-utils
What I expect: When plugging laptop power cord back in after removing
it, it should begin charging with no effect on performance.
What happens: Screen freezes to whatever is shown just before, whether
that is a video or a blank screen. Fan goes into overdrive; suspect
overloaded CPU. If there is music playing, it begins to skip and repeat
ala broken record.
What bothers me is that it only happens when I plug it back in, not when
unplugging it or turning it on. I looked for an already reported bug,
but the only ones that I found were either for previous releases of
Ubuntu or didn't match my experience.
I am running Ubuntu on a Samsung QX411-W02B.
