doing some further work with Jackson, he had Raring install with
encrypted /home okay. He was presented with a window upon 1st login
asking him to note his pass-phrase after entering his password. I see
this if I use Quantal, but when I installed Raring I was asked for my
pass-phrase during the install on my KVM system. Hoping this is of help.
